Allen Butler enterprises can work on large commercial land clearing
jobs, to small residential lots cleared. No job is to big or to small and we
would like the opportunity to bid them all. Stumping and grubbing lots, removal
of all the debris and muck out and back fill can all be included in our
proposal.
*Muck out and back fill, What does this mean to the
average person? The term "muck out" is used to describe the material we are
cleaning out or the area. Say you have a muddy area on your land that
you want a pad installed or a road to go thru. We would have to dig out all the
"bad" dirt. This dirt is called "Muck" and the term we use to get it removed is
" muck out". After the muck out is done then we have to "back fill". The
term back fill refers to a process of adding "good" dirt such as top soil
or fill dirt. So we go back and fill the hole hence the term "back
fill"
Demolition is another branch of Allen Butler Enterprises, we can
tear down buildings, trees, concrete curbing or block, old houses, just
about anything. We also can remove old tanks, with the help of our friends from
National Enviromental, all your hazzardous materials can be removed and desposed
of properly. We have worked all over the state of South Carolina excavating and
demoing all kinds of old building and houses.
*Allen Butler Enterprises has removed old fuel tanks from commercial
lots.The buyer purchased the property knowing the old fuel tanks were there.
They called us to remove them and after getting the proper permits
we started work. We excavated around the tanks then we used a large excavator to
lift the tank onto a trailer and haul it away. Hauling off of all kinds of
debris is a big part of our business. Knowing the community and
surrounding areas helps us find the proper places to despose of all types of
debris.
In doing tear downs of buildings we need heavy equipment. We have a
650 John Deere Dozer to knock down dirt and grade and a 215 New Holland and a
120 John DeereTrack Hoe or excavator for digging dirt, removing trees, or
whatever else needs to be excavated. We own our own 46" vibratory roller
and 16-19 sqyd Kenworth Dump Truck to deliver dirt or rock or haul muck or
debris away. We have a John Deere back hoe for laying pipe and setting storm
drains, or just small excavation and have pennel hitch trailers and gooseneck
trailers so our company can be mobile and ready to go at anytime. Also at our
disposal is Our friend, Jerrid Sumner from RSC rentals, so if we need it we can
rent and get it from RSC Rentals.
* renting equipment is a great convienence. Our suppliers at RSC and
Southern Crane and Tractor can get anything. You yourself can rent from these
same companies but with us you are getting the knowlage and
expience. The equipment is the same but the know how that comes with our company
can save you time and money. Heavy equipment for us is our life line. Each peice
plays a vital roll in our daily production. We have serviced our equipment
to keep it in top running condition. We have some small and large equipment to
suit the jobs we are on.
Allen Butler Enterprises loves parking lot paving. Our company can
install curbing and gutters. Jobs like sidewalks and parking lots are nothing
new to our crew. We have an expert with 25 plus year experiance, Johnny Nettles,
Owner of former company Nettles Sand, has built just about everything in the
lowcountry. Johnny Nettles worked on sites from the lot clearing to the finish
parking lots for BB&T Bank, large shopping centers, storage building
complexes and many many more. We are glad he is a part of the team at Allen
Butler Enterprises.
*Parking lot repair is new to our business so we have
a consultant we work closly with. Johnny Nettles used to own Nettles Sand
Company here in Walterboro. Johnny has build everything and wanted to retire
so he sold his company. Johnny felt retirment was boring so he helps Allen with
parking lots and pipe work. Allen Butler Ent. has repaired and reblack toped the
parking lots of resturaunts, state owned repair shops, PRTC parking lot and
many others. We can do curbing islands and gutters as well.
We have all the equipment to do curbing and gutter and sidewalks or
anything else in concrete. We have our own concrete saws and waker packers.
Pumps and Jumping jacks to get the water out and pack the dirt flat. Lazer
levels to check grades and a finishing crew second to none.
* A finishing crew is the persons who actually lay the concrete down in
the forms and smooth it. The finishing crew adds fiber to the mix or rebar to
the concrete. This is a way of making concrete even stronger, sometines
the concrete needs more streagth due to what is driving over it. The heavier the
vehicle the stronger the concrete needs to be.
Asphalt has big meaning to Allen Butler Enterprises. Being that the
mill is not far away we can do asphalt parking lot paving, parking lot
resurfacing, parking lot patching and repairing. We can cut out the bad spots
and patch it back with FLBC and then asphalt. We can then black top the parking
lot and add all the stripping and bumpers or curbing. Handicap, striped
walkways, parking spaces can all be done by us. Parking lot curbing, gutters and
islands are our specialty. We want the opportunity to bid on your parking lot
jobs.
*We do not asphalt roads because we do own a paving machine. Our
company uses its equipment to pave parking lots. This is done by trucks
delivering the hot asphalt to the jobs and dumping it over the FLBC we
have laid down. We then spread it with a bucket on a tractor and roll it flat.
The process is repeated untill the desired thickness is reached.
Recycling concrete and asphalt is our green way of bettering the
enviroment. We accept outside companies millings as well as when our company
resurfaces parking lots. We can haul our asphalt millings or concrete curbing to
our pit. It is located in Walterboro, SC off of Rigsby Road. If you have asphalt
millings or concrete debris we would love to take it off your hands. There is a
dumping fee per truck, Allen Butler will decide the fee and will arrange the
times you will need to dump in the pit.

this service is the redo of the weight stations on interstate 95. As thepile of
concrete grows we will bring ina grinder and have them chip it down to different
sizes. Then we will sell it by the load.
Since we recycle asphalt and concrete we sell the recycled
products. A grinder will grinds the concrete into small bits. We will have all
sizes sorted so we can stock pile the goods. These recycled materials are great
for many things like logging roads or even use in pot holes, rip rap for water
errosion, add material to your dirt driveway, the posibilities are endless. We
do sell it by the load and have a loader here on site or we can deliver it
straight to you in our dump truck.
*Repairing roads and making driveways is easy when the materials
are on our yard. Allen can grade the raod flat then add material to it so the
water will shed off and the raod will stay inplace. Loggers are our best friends
when the rain comes. The heavy trucks tear the haul roads up an the wood buyers
hire us to repair the roads back to superior quality the land owner can use.
Our trucks can haul by the load straight to your location. We can
get topsoil, FLBC, Rip Rap, Crush run in granite or lime stone, Granite rock,
Limestone rock, Fill dirt, Sand, Shell Sand, or Beach sand. We also can haul by
the hour for goods like muck out, back fill, tree debris, builders debris, root
